I think I've finally found my calling...outdoor newborn photography! I had such a wonderful time capturing moments from this session with new mom, Kaitlyn, and her beautiful baby girl Meilani Louise (what a special name xoxo). Meilani slept like a dream and the weather was not too hot or humid,,,for once...and even had a nice breeze. Her mom said she enjoyed being outside and didn't mind loud noises, as a train came whistling by! Kaitlyn was just glowing and flawless in every way, reminded me of mother nature among the flowers and greenery. See...downtown Hannibal is truly a beautiful place to discover and enjoy! I felt so creative during this session...not only because they were models from a recent model call I announced (pressure off!) but because my vision finally came to life and for the first time I felt I knew my place as a photographer. May seem strange to some because I have being doing this for some time now and have done countless sessions (which are all beautiful in their own way!) but something about this session really opened my eyes to why I love photography so much and need to appreciate the little joys it brings to not only my clients lives, but mine too...
